Pros and Cons of iPad 3

Apple released its 3^rd edition of the iPad earlier this year. The new iPad has gained more popularity than the older versions. Many new and amazing features have been added to the new iPad 3. These features have made its position very high but along with these amazing features and performance, it lacks few specs or we can say that it has some cons. Although many great technology analyzers have said that new iPad 3 has given extreme strong competition to the other tablets in market but some minor features may cause it a problem.

Some of the pros and cons of the iPad 3 are:

PROS:

·  1 - The best upgrade made to this new iPad is its screen. The new iPad is featuring Retina Display offers four times as many pixels as the iPad 2 and the double resolution. There is no doubt about its display quality. It is among best displays ever seen. The new iPad 3 has enough pixel density that you cannot see any pixel with naked eye. iPad has lower pixel density than the iPhone 4s but its color contrast has been increased up to 44% which minimizes the this difference.

·   2 - The camera in new iPad has been upgraded. There is a lot focus on the camera quality of the tablet. Just like iPhone 4s, the iPad 3 is featuring 5-megapixel sensor and 5 element lens. The camera has been named as iSight featuring automatic face detection, wide aperture for the low light, full HD video etc.

CONS:

·   1 - iPad 3 is the 1^st ever product supporting the 4G network but it is not compatible with the Australian 4G networks. It might create problems for the users of network which iPad 3 doesn’t support.

·  2 - Another con of the iPad 3 is that Apple didn’t add the quad-core processor. It might cause fluctuations and slowdown may appear while switching between the heavy graphics apps. Other the hand, the new iPad 3 has added quad-core GPU to handle the high graphics easily.

 Since Apple released the new version of iPad i.e. iPad 3, there is a lot of discussion is happening there in the market. Most of the questions are how iPad 3 is different from iPad 2 because new iPad doesn’t look much different from the previous the edition. The design of iPad 3 is quite similar to the old version of the iPad but there are many other features in iPad 3 which makes it unique and distinguishable from the iPad 2. If it had HDR options, its camera quality would have been raised quite higher.

It has fast processor along with mighty display and simple interface. The only cons of the iPad 3 is that is bit heavier, it can be overheated soon and its apps take many of the space available. Comparison: Ipad 3 Vs Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1

Every smartphone manufacturing companies are coming up with new and latest technology to take lead in smartphone industry. Both Apple and Samsung are among major companies who have brought up with new revolutionary designs and technology. Apple recently released Ipad 3 which is a new and improved version of the Ipad 2 whereas Samsung came up with Galaxy Tab 10.1 and this is considered to be best tablet released by Samsung. Both tablets are way too similar when we take features into the account. There is a slight difference in the prices of both tablets. Apple Ipad price starts from $629.99 whereas Galaxy tab 10.1 is a bit expensive and its price starts at $699.99.

When it comes to the design, Ipad and Galaxy tab both look alike but when both tablets are grasped in hands, the Ipad delivers a wow factor. We cannot say that Galaxy tab look isn’t good but comparatively Ipad wins the race in the design. Galaxy tab has a plastic body and it is comparatively light. New Ipad looks has not been improved much. But overall in looks and design, Ipad gets high marks.

When we take camera into consideration then again Ipad scores high score owing to its 5 mega pixel camera whereas Galaxy tab 10.1 has 3.2 mega pixel camera. Ipad features Isight technology which enables high quality images with better colors. Both the tabs have macro and scenery mode features but Ipad Isight camera excels between the two. Like before when we compare both interfaces, Ipad takes lead again. Interface has been a lot in new Apple Ipad. Galaxy Tab 10.1 is supporting Android Honeycomb OS and there are already many Android tablets whose interface is much better than Tab 10.1.

Ipad is featuring 1GHz dual-core processor combined with quad-core graphics unit which has greatly enhanced its performance and speed. Owing to this, Ipad exhibits the fastest and most responsive tablet in the market. On the other hand, Galaxy tab 10.1 features 1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor which has a respectable processor speed. So by comparing all these features, I conclude that Apple Ipad 3 is a better choice than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
