Android Jelly Beans

Last year Google came up with the new version of their Android OS Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0. this year, taking a wise decision, they released the updated version of the Ice Cream Sandwich i.e. Android Jelly Beans 4.1. Instead of jumping to next OS, they simply upgraded the older OS and it was a wise step taken to make the foundation of OS 4.0 stronger. Android 3.0 HoneyComb was mostly adopted by the tablets and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is mostly adopted by the smartphones. Android 4.0 is present in only limited smartphones which came out in last 6-8 months. The newer and updated version Jelly Beans is built for both tablets and the smartphones.

The Apple users who shift from iPhone to Android complain about Android interface and working but with the introduction of the Ice Cream Sandwich many of their complaints have been overcome. The new version of Android OS has taken a step ahead and has overcome the faults which Ice Cream Sandwich had. The outlook of Jelly Beans is not much different from the Ice Cream Sandwich. Jelly Beans has come up with the new overhaul notifications having better backlight and interface. The font size of the notifications has also been increased making it more readable.

Widgets have been a plus point of the Android over the iOS and in Jelly Beans their use have been enhanced greatly. In Jelly Beans, users can make a customized layout of widgets on the home screen according to the requirements.  Users can also resize the icons by tapping and holding the icon. Blue dots appear on the all four sides of the icon and you can resize by grabbing any corner.  The new OS has aptly been named as the Google Now by providing the search engine bar on the home screen. Users can access any sort of search on the desktop of the smartphone and it doesn’t require installing any software for it.

Android Jelly Beans doesn’t stop here. There are many others small but useful features in it.  Beta version of the Google Chrome has finally released and it is pre-installed in the OS. The keyboard platform provided by Ice Cream Sandwich was considered to be best but Jelly Beans has beaten previous OS in this case. Jelly Beans provides you with the better, smarter and accurate keyboard. Google has made Jelly Beans very smart. Jelly Beans have been beefed up by the Blink Detection, it allows the users to get a lively image. Before, it asks the user blink to confirm you are a living being. Photo viewing in new OS is much better than the Ice Cream Sandwich.
The new OS is a updated version of the Ice Cream Sandwich, not a entirely different and new OS. It is not a big step by the Google but still it is a considerable innovative work. Now the Android has become quite fast and fulfilling the user’s requirements and demands. Its notifications and widgets have excelled over the iOS. Users would adopt this OS but it is a fact that they are looking for a new OS by Android to which they can switch.

Sony is coming up with smartphones in every possible range from lowest to highest to get the maximum users. Owing to this reason, now Sony is coming up with some middle and low ranged handsets to get a complete hold in the smartphone industry. Sony Miro is among those handsets which arrive towards the low priced phones. Sony Miro has already got a tough competition in the market by the low-ranged handsets like HTC Desire C and Orange San Diego. These above mentioned smartphones are already in the market and they have done comparatively good business, thus creating difficulties for the Sony Miro to make its place in the market.
Some notable features of the Sony Miro are following:

·    It offers 800MHz single core processor
·    5 mega-pixel rear camera, VGA camera at front for video calling
·    4GB internal memory but only 2.2GB is accessible to the users. Although  memory card slot is available
·     It is featuring Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS
·     3.5 inches display screen having resolution of 320 x 480 pixels
·      It is quite light in weight. It only weighs 110grams
·      Dedicated colored LED for the Facebook notifications

Sony Miro is simply designed phone while keeping in view the price and quality it offers. It has a clean, elegant and uncluttered looks and design. There is a colored strip at the front bottom of the phone having 3 touch screen buttons. Speaker grill and front-facing camera is available at the front of the phone.  The exterior body of the Miro is plastic made and offers a firm grip. It fits in the hand comfortably.  Volume rocker is available at the top right corner while 3.5mm audio jack and power button is located at the top of the handset.

Miro is “made for the Facebook”, this statement is given by the Sony. There is a dedicated colored LED light for the notifications from the Facebook. Whenever there is a notification from the app, blue colored dedicated LED starts flashing. With the introduction of the xLoud technology, the volume of the speaker has been increased by the 30%. Its 800MHz processor works well for the Ice Cream Sandwich having no lag and slowdown experienced. The touchscreen is responsive and provide good and comfortable touch. Although, sometimes its touch feel a bit resistive. The 5MP camera provides the users with comparatively good and unique shooting modes, offering 4x digital zoom supported by LED flash.
