Pros and Cons of iPad 3

Apple released its 3rd edition of the iPad earlier this year. The new iPad has gained more popularity than the older versions. Many new and amazing features have been added to the new iPad 3. These features have made its position very high but along with these amazing features and performance, it lacks few specs or we can say that it has some cons. Although many great technology analyzers have said that new iPad 3 has given extreme strong competition to the other tablets in market but some minor features may cause it a problem.

(You can buy this iPad from Here)

Some of the pros and cons of the iPad 3 are:

PROS:

·  1 - The best upgrade made to this new iPad is its screen. The new iPad is featuring Retina Display offers four times as many pixels as the iPad 2 and the double resolution. There is no doubt about its display quality. It is among best displays ever seen. The new iPad 3 has enough pixel density that you cannot see any pixel with naked eye. iPad has lower pixel density than the iPhone 4s but its color contrast has been increased up to 44% which minimizes the this difference.
·   2 - The camera in new iPad has been upgraded. There is a lot focus on the camera quality of the tablet. Just like iPhone 4s, the iPad 3 is featuring 5-megapixel sensor and 5 element lens. The camera has been named as iSight featuring automatic face detection, wide aperture for the low light, full HD video etc.

CONS:

·   1 - iPad 3 is the 1st ever product supporting the 4G network but it is not compatible with the Australian 4G networks. It might create problems for the users of network which iPad 3 doesn’t support.
·  2 - Another con of the iPad 3 is that Apple didn’t add the quad-core processor. It might cause fluctuations and slowdown may appear while switching between the heavy graphics apps. Other the hand, the new iPad 3 has added quad-core GPU to handle the high graphics easily.

Asus Transformer Infinity

(You can buy this tablet from Here)

Asus have been working very much to build quality tablets and recently it received five stars to both Asus Transformer Prime and Google Nexus 7 tablets. Following the old steps, Asus came up with Transformer Infinity, the newest member of Transformer family featuring full HD display and brandishing the familiar keyboard/tablet design as same as the older version of the Transformer.  It is Android-powered tablet having a beautiful and gorgeous design and outlook with a quality battery timing.

Asus have given same old look of the Transformer Prime to the new Infinity. It has same old metallic finishing and somewhat it also matches with iPad 3. Infinity is much sleeker and slender than the iPad 3. The tablet, itself is very light but when it is connected with its keyboard dock, it gets a bit heavier. Bit still it is easy to hold it in hands. It has 10.1 inches full HD LED display having scratchless Corning Gorilla Glass. The older Prime version of the Transformer pad featured a magnificent, clear and bright display but Infinity is first one to come up with full HD screen having resolution of 1920 x 1200. Its brightness and sharpness will hopefully amaze you as it has been enhanced much by the introduction of the full HD display.

It is a bit disappointment that new Transformer Infinity is not featuring Android Jelly Beans 4.1. Instead it came up with the old Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0. Its interface and appearance is as same as the old Transformer Prime Pad. Its interface is not as friendly as we judged as it would have been. Asus custom settings provide you with the opportunity to make some variations in the interface and usage. For instance user is able to change the way to take the screen shot.

Asus Infinity Pad comes up with the 1.6 GHz quad-core processor powered by NVIDIA Tegra. It runs very quickly and works great with the Ice Cream Sandwich. Its processor is quite capable of playing games with a bit of distortion which can be neglected. Infinity Pad has 8MP camera which is considered to be best among the tablets present in the market. Camera is supported dually by LED flash, F 2.2 aperture and auto focus. Camera is able to shoot video in full HD 1080p quality.

Infinity Pad’s specs are quite unique and most of them make it a significant among all other tablets. Its full HD display and quad-core processor are among its unique features. Its sound quality and unable to support USB charging has let down its reputation. If you are looking for a portable laptop-like functional tablet then Asus Transformer infinity Pad would be best choice.

New iPhone pre-orders; Samsung doc shows copying of iPhone; Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and more!

The battle between Apple and Samsung continues this week with Apple gaining a slight upper-hand. The Cupertino gadget company showed a 132-page report from Samsung that showed comparisons between the original Galaxy S and the iPhone and then stating what they should do to make the Galaxy S more like the iPhone. This certainly doesn't help Samsung's case. We also have some iPhone rumors to cover, as well as a possible date for when pre-orders will start. In other news, the Galaxy Note 2 is coming, as are some HTC Windows Phone 8 phones and the world's first VoLTE phone, from MetroPCS of all places.

Google Nexus 7

(You can buy this tablet from Here)

Google made its way into the smartphone market by launching its 1st ever handset namely Samsung Nexus. This handset gained a huge success making a way for the Google to enter in the smartphone industry. Now Google is planning to increase their range. Keeping this in view, Google recently released a tablet namely Google Nexus 7 by Asus. It is the 1st ever tablet which is featuring Android latest OS i.e. Android 4.1 Jelly Beans. Google worked greatly to make a better tablet and Asus made this tablet a worthy one.

In today’s fashion, black bezel display is preferred for the Android tablets but this time Asus made a significant change by changing its appearance to a bit textured dimple-like back.  Owing to this, it is easier to hold it in hand and use it for a longer time. Like other Android tablets, volume rocker and power button is present at the edge of the tablet whereas 3.5mm headphone port and micro USB charging is found at the bottom of the tablet.

Some highly prominent specifications of the tablet are following:

· 1 - LED backlit capacitive touch screen
· 2 - 7 inches screen size, pixel density 216 ppi approx.
· 3 - Video calling enabled, 1.2 front facing camera
· 4 - Android 4.1 Jelly Beans
· 5 - Compass, accelerometer, proximity sensors are available
· 6 - Quad core 1.3 GHz processor along GPU of ULP GeForce

While considering its performance, its quad core processor along with ULP GeForce GPU works fine with Android 4.1 Jelly Beans. It is able to play to the heavier games easily. Considering its performance, price and features, it proves out to be a fantastic tablet. Playing games, browsing the web and watching movies on a 7-inch tablet is a nice experience. It can be 1st Android tablet which can compete the iPad unless iPad mini comes.
